At the end of the day it’s all about arming women with knowledge so that they can make informed decisions about treatment options that may be suitable for the individual. We all have different medical history and life situations so what might be the right option for one may not be suitable for another person! As long as women have access to information and support, hopefully more women can make choices that suit their own situation.
Recently The American Society of Plastic Surgeons supported an Act called The Breast Cancer Education Act.
